The story follows the ancient King, Yuvanaswa, who after mistakenly drinking a magic fertility potion intended for the Queen became pregnant with his only child, Mandhata. However, Yuvansava could not breastfeed his child and so Indra, the Hindu King of Gods slit his thumb and because he was a god, his veins were filled with life-giving nectar instead of blood.
